Lock Laces - Shoelaces you never tie ¦ back 

 The all-new patented "elastic shoelace & locking system"

THE LACE - The innovative curved tips of the laces allow the wearer to lace their shoes more easily through the increasingly weird eyelet configurations in athletic shoes. The laces are made with multi-banded strands of elastic (the same elastic used for bungee cords) that won’t break or dry rot. The elastic laces give you greater flexibility with a tighter, more comfortable fit than cotton or nylon shoelaces.

THE LOCK - The lock incorporates a slidable, spring activated device. The locks are made with a strong, durable plastic and uses a high-tension spring made from a metal alloy that won’t rust or corrode. The locking device holds the laces (when knotted) in place so they stay secure and maintain the same constant tension on the foot never loosening.

 Here are the instructions for using Lock Laces™:

1. Separate locks from laces.

2. Lace shoes up as you would regular shoelaces.
(Remember - Because they’re elastic, Lock Laces™ are half the length of regular shoelaces.)

3. Press down on the button of the lock and thread each lace through each hole of the lock.

4. Pull the laces through the lock’s openings, at the desired comfortable snugness;
release the button to initiate the locking device.

5. When you have the desired fit and feel of the shoe on your foot, knot each lace right at the opening of the lock. The knot keeps the lace from slipping through the lock and keeps the same constant tension.

Special Note: If you are using Lock Laces™ in low-cut or 3/4-cut shoes, you should be able to slip your feet in and out of your shoes never having to worry about tying or untying your laces. For high top athletic shoes, you may have to take the knot out so you can insert your foot into the shoe. When wearing Lock Laces™ with high top shoes the advantage is never having to stop to retie your laces while playing, performing or competing in any activity.
