Elastic or neoprene ankle support?

Deciding between an elastic or neoprene supports often comes down to personal preference. Both provide excellent compression. However, the benefits of elastic supports is they are thinner and less bulky than neoprene. Therefore, this makes them more comfortable to wear for extended periods. Elastic retails less heat. This is great if you have swelling, however, chronic tendon injuries benefit from higher heat retention of neoprene.
