Collection: Men's Running Socks

A selection of single and double layer technical men's running socks.  Designed with comfort in mind 1000 Mile pioneered the anti-blister running sock.

Choosing running socks

Which sock is best for me? With the huge range available it can be a little confusing. As a result we have some advice to help you choose the right length and features for your needs.

Men's running socks length guide

Our men's running socks come in anklet, socklet and crew lengths. In other words, we have a sock to suit evey type of runner.

Socklet

The socklet size of mens running socks is the shortest. This is because it is cut low below the ankle, they are great as a trainer liner for running shoes or trainers.

Anklet

Anklet or ankle socks cover the ankle but are still very lightweight. Again, ideal for running shoes and trainers.

Crew length mens running socks

These are higher, covering more or your lower leg. However, they are not as long as calf length socks.

What size do I need?

Choose the same size sock as your foot size. Therefore, if you have a narrow fitting (D or less for men, B or less for women) or are on the border between sizes you should go down a size. The sock should be a snug fit with not wrinkles. Men's shoe size:

Medium – 6-8.5UK (EUR 39-42.5)

Large – 9-11.1UK (EUR 43-46.5)

XL – 12-14UK (EUR 47-49)

Double layer men's running socks

1000 Mile is famous for its double layer, anti-blister system. The first Original 1000 Mile Sock is a sock within a sock.

The inner layer stays with the foot as the outer layer moves with the shoe, eliminating friction on the skin and protecting your feet from blisters. 1000 mile running socks are designed with the purpose of protecting not just athletes but also people with serious health issues like diabetes where foot health is essential.

Fusion range

The mens Fusion anklet running sock combines the comfort and protection that comes from a padded sock with the 1000 Mile Double Layer System. As a result, this reduces friction and increases blister protection.

The padded zone on the heel, not only helps to protect the Achilles tendon but has been extended around the ankle to the front to protect the foot from any discomfort caused by footwear.

Padding on the toe and ball of foot areas cover known trouble spots for runners and walkers alike. This gives extra protection whatever the activity, making these the ultimate comfort in padded running socks.

Recycled men's running socks

Run green with our range of recyled men's running socks made from 100% recycled materials, primarily plastic bottles.  Above all this helps the planet by reducing energy, water and greenhouse gases.
